This week for Wisdom Wednesday I thought I would switch it up and use The Heart of Faerie Oracle by Brian & Wendy Froud. This deck is a bit more mysterious for me, I don’t connect with it quite as well as the Wild Wisdom oracle, but still a beautiful deck to work with.
So, this is how it works…close your eyes and take a deep breath, open your eyes and focus your mind on an issue you feel is pressing for you, and as you scroll slowly down through the 3 cards, feel what card seems to call to you the most, Card#1, Card#2, or Card#3
If you were drawn to Card #1, this is the message the Faeries have for you:
#9 The Queen of Laughter
A sense of fun and joy can do more good than almost anything else in most situations. Be a little daring. Do something. Be mischievous. Pass your joy on.
If you were drawn to Card #2, this is the message the Faeries have for you:
#25 The Hero
Have the courage to fight, the wisdom to “do the right thing” whatever it takes, and the drive to continue on against the odds. Try practicing the ultimate in courage: Unconditional Love.
If you were drawn to card #3, this is the message the Faeries have for you:
#38 The Pan
An awfully big adventure, that’s how the Pan sees life and death. He flies joyously on to whatever comes next, knowing that it’s all part of the journey. It takes courage to be adventurous. It takes courage to trust that you can deal with whatever comes next. When things seem daunting, when the future looks terribly uncertain, borrow bravery from the Pan. Let yourself take that first step toward whatever awaits you.
Until next time friends, be well.
